Speaker Bio:

Jay Steinke, PMP, is a project manager whose more than 12 years experience includes managing software development projects, corporate initiatives, and PMO implementations in the securities brokerage, banking, and insurance industry’s.  Jay has also implemented numerous Agile methodologies and process improvements into organizations which increase efficiencies and improve project performance.

Jay has written papers, mentored and trained project managers of all maturities, and presented his ideas to broad audiences.  His philosophy encompasses improving project and organizational results through a foundation of low-effort, high-value tools and techniques that can be used on any project or in any organization.  Jay also teaches complex concepts, such as earned value, in a simple and straight-forward method that is easy to understand.  His expertise includes managing complex software development projects, offshore/onshore initiatives, PMO implementations, acquisitions, Microsoft Project Server 2010 best practices, budgets, programs, and strategic initiatives.
